Solar Cooling with Photovoltaic
Application
Autarke Systeme mit photovoltaischer Versorgung sind vor allem in Gebieten mit instabilen oder fehlenden Energieversorgungsnetzen wirtschaftlich einsetzbar. Speziell in entlegenen Regionen mit mangelnder Infrastruktur und Zonen mit hoher Sonneneinstrahlung, stellen angepasste Kühlsysteme mit photovoltaischer Versorgung eine optimale Lösung für die Kühlung von z.B. Lebensmitteln, Medikamenten oder technischen Geräten dar.
Photovoltaic-based off-grid applications are competitive in areas with unsafe or missing electricity supply systems. Especially in remote areas with unreliable or expensive conventional energy supply or regions with high solar radiation rates special adapted PV-supplied systems for cooling of any type of food-stuff, medicines or technical devices are a viable option.
ILK Dresden has designed different types of stand-alone applications for cooling with special cold storages:
- Solar PV cooling container (reefer)
- Solar PV milk collection centre
- Solar PV ice maker
- Solar PV heat pump (water cooler / heater)
